every once in a while, i'll read/see/hear something and think to myself, "are you for reals??? i wish the world would just end." this post is about some of the things i read in the past few days that made me think this.
1. on the website, "yo, is this racist?", i read a post that mentioned that a strategy told to college girls to prevent rape is to force themselves to throw up. let that sink in for a second. girls are told that if they're about to be raped, to force themselves to throw up.
so... what the f**k?!?! this can't be true, right? i mean... is this true? are girls told that they should force themselves to throw up and it will stop the rapist?
personally, i think rapists should be punished in the most horrible way possible (think of the "saw" or "hostel" movies) and it should be mandatory viewing for all people in middle school and up. of course, girls who falsely claim rape will also be killed in this manner.
2. racist video
this is not the first time a video like this has come up. it won't be the last. it amazes me that some people are still racists in 2013. let me rephrase that, it amazes me that some people are stupid enough to be openly racist in 2013. in a way, i guess it's good that these fools are outing themselves, but the fact that these kids are so openly stupid, makes me fear for the future of our society and makes me believe if humanity ended, it would be better for everyone.
3. taylor swift
i have seen a few pics of taylor swift but i have never heard her sing. so 2 things i know about her: she's popular and she dates dudes like it's her job. one question about her dating all these dudes, do women think taylor swift is a slut for doing so? anyway, she's stupid too.
4. hate crime
i realize some people don't like pink, including me. but... damn, yo.
i know there are still a lot of beauty and good in the world, but... these people are making me lose faith in humanity and in our future. when i become the king of the world, these people will be rounded up and be forced to live in... greenland. with no way to get off the island, b/c stupidity should come with a price.
